Prayers

I didn't understand the meaning of saying a prayer.
What good would it do to make a wish?
I don't think the higher beings have time to grant every one of them.
Because...
It's an attitude.
When you say a well-intentioned prayer for someone or something, it reflects an attitude.
When you curse or wish ill on someone, it also reflects an attitude.
Two kinds of attitudes, two different results.
So which one, a prayer or a curse, should we be leading?
